YEAR ROUND

Tom’s Pils

Pilsner, 5% ABV, 25 IBU

It was about time, but we made Tom a Pilsner. If you don’t know Tom, look for the red-haired German guy. This pils is meant to be to Tom’s spec- decocted for that German melanoidin aspect, carbonated higher for that nice bright carbonic acid bite, and hop forward with the traditional Hallertau Mittlefruh hops for an earthy/spicy experience.

Hazy Pale Ale

Hazy Pale Ale, 4.5% ABV, 29 IBU

A fun beer, pilsner malt base with malted wheat, unmalted wheat, and oats. We then ferment the beer with our much-loved Kviek yeast (Hornindal), hopped with Citra, Cascade, and Strata. Once done, we give it a nice dose of those three hops for a dry hop, crash it, carb it, and now we get to drink it! Yes, it’ll have a hazy appearance due to the protein, yeast, and hop dose. Enjoy!

Tanuki

India Pale Ale, 6.4% ABV, 35 IBU

Tanuki is brewed on the hot side with equal parts Maris Otter and Pilsner malt to keep the beer from being too overbearing malty on the pallet, but to leave a solid foundation for the hops. All of those IBU’s are accumulated during a cold whirlpool of Sultana, Azacca, and Comet hops for a super fruity experience! We ferment it with a Hornindal Kveik yeast for a punchy pineapple type of flavor, then add a healthy dry hop (near saturation) for that extra aroma.

SEASONALS

High Porch

Watermelon Wheat Beer, 5.2% ABV, 18 IBU

Hello summer! Watermelon is a characteristic flavor profile of summer in the otherwise hot and muggy Houston summer. Crisp, light, refreshing- all things you’re looking for when sweating all over, all the time. This American wheat base beer is hit with the watermelon hammer so it has a lovely, light, bright, and crisp watermelon flavor. Perfect for those stuffy Houston summer days. Enjoy often and responsibly!

Satyr’s Swill

Bock, 7.2% ABV, 22 IBU

A traditional German bock, this beer is high on the drinkability scale but also packs a punch with its higher gravity. This traditional German lager is on the sweeter side, with a crispness enjoyed by those who really know what lagers should taste like.

Kölsch

Kölsch, 5.0% ABV, 18 IBU

Kolsch. A beautiful beer style from Germany- crispy, clean, lagered beer with a straw/hay color. This beer, as with most in this series, is meant to be beer flavored beer, brewed beautifully for an excellent drinking experience. It’s the summer in Houston- so the hot times call for cold beers that go down and try to put out the flames. You’ve found one of the beers to help you do that.

Lucy

Hefeweizen, 4.8% ABV, 11 IBU

Saint Lucy is the patron saint of wheat, making her perfect for us to name this beer after! 50/50 wheat/barley, this beer derives its banana and clove flavors from the yeast doing their thing.

Kingsbrau

Festbier, 6.2% ABV, 22 IBU

Crisp, malt-forward, and light on the pallet for all-day drinking. Dry hopped with Hallertau Blanc hops for a bright and grassy aroma, reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc. The perfect Oktoberfest beer to enjoy by the liter! Prost!

King of the Helles

Texas-Style Helles Lager, 4.5% ABV, 24 IBU

King of the Helles is our new Texas-Style Helles beer! This light beer uses all Texas grown malted barley from TexMalt in Fort Worth. A blend of Pilsner and Munich Malts make this beer lighter and brighter on the front of the palate and gives it a rounded sweetness on the back. We Finish the beer hot side with Hallertau Blanc and Mandarina Bavaria hops to give it a citrusy flavor. This beer is so crisp and refreshing, the only thing you’ll want to say is… “yup”. Look for it in grocery stores and your favorite watering hole around the Greater Houston area!

Chola

Mexican Lager, 4.4% ABV, 17 IBU

Chola is a Mexican-style lager brewed with 80% pilsner and 20% Vienna malts. It’s hopped with German hops a la the Vienna-style lagers that were the origins of this style (Northern Brewer and Perle). This beer is simple but flavorful, and is sure to get you saying “Orale”!

Me Beer

Blonde Dopplebock, 10% ABV, 20 IBU, 100% Awesome

This is a big beer. It’s made with primarily pilsner malt with some Vienna thrown in. We gave this beer a long decoction to bring out some amazing caramel flavors without making it too sweet. Me Beer is meant to showcase a symphony of what the malt and fermentation can do. As a lager, it is fermented cold, getting its ABV to 10%. As a result, we present to you a beautifully clear, dark, hay-colored lager that our brewer decided to share with you as a piece of himself. Look for it at your favorite bar, HEB, Spec’s, or Total Wine!

Mutton Bustin’

Strawberry Kolsch, 5.5% ABV, 25 IBU

Mutton Bustin’ has a new spin on it this year! We started this beer off as a traditional Kolsch-style German ale. It’s brewed with the finest German malts and hops, and is fermented with a German ale strain for a lager-like crispness. Then, just before fermentation was over, we added a TON of strawberries, which has given the beer a beautiful pink haze, strawberry aroma, and a slight, pleasant strawberry flavor without the tartness.

Bronc Stomper

Imperial Double IPA, 9.5% ABV, 100 IBU

We went old school with this big, bad monster. 100% 2-row pale malt lets this beer support the massive hopping of Simcoe Chinook, and Centennial. You’re going to get some pine, resin, dank, and a little citrus out of this beer, with a warming alcohol level to heal all that ales you 😉

Black Habit

Schwarzbier, 5.3% ABV, 24 IBU

By popular demand, we’re bringing back Black Habit.! This lager elicits roasted chocolate notes, while being light on the pallet. Look for it in stores and at your favorite watering hole!

Aybara

Double Imperial Oatmeal Stout, 8.7% ABV, 25 IBU

Aybara is named for Perrin Aybara, a blacksmith from humble beginnings, who was elevated to the level of leader. After a day at the forge, we figure someone is looking for a more robust, creamy, roasty type of beer, and an imperial oatmeal stout is just that. Smooth due to the oats, the roast and chocolate notes sit for the pallet to not be overbearing but delicious. At 8.7% ABV, it will be a warming beverage, but won’t completely cloud your vision after one go.

Shiny

Double New England IPA, 8.1% ABV, 18 IBU

We decided to make a galactic attempt at a double NEIPA, and thus, Shiny was born. Full of Comet, Centennial, and Citra hops, this beer is cold-whirlpooled (thus the low IBU count) so we could pack in more flavor, before getting a double dry hop of all three hops! Very hazy as per style, think of it as a cluster of stars. Just keep flyin’ ya’ll!

Gangplank Gose

Gose, 3.9% ABV, 10 IBU

This slightly tart, slightly salty bit of heaven is perfect for enjoying on your next boat trip, but won’t leave you feeling like walking the plank! We used some bitter orange peel in the whirlpool for a slight citrus note. It’s bound to be your favorite summer beer!

Hopzuna

Double IPA, 8.7% ABV, 43 IBU

Approaching our hero, Tanuki, is this impending Sumo hop of destruction! Wrecking pallets with intense Citra and Azacca flavor and aroma, this DIPA is sure to give Tanuki a fierce battle! This beer is a Kveik fermented double IPA with oats for a soft flavor, and is heavily kettle hopped in a whirlpool with Citra and Azacca. We then give it a silly amount of dry hops to make it a double dry hopped beauty.

Gabagool

Italian Pilsner, 4.8% ABV, 25 IBU

In celebration of the new Sopranos movie coming out, we decided to pay homage to the awesome series with this Italian Pilsner. To brew Gabagool, we started with Eraclea malt from Germany and introduced barley from the Adratic Coast in Italy for a bit more protein development. We then use one decoction for some palate sweetness, but keep the flavor profile sharp with Saaz and Hallertau Mittelfruh hops. After fermentation is complete, it gets hit with more hops for a pop of that almost spicy aspect you expect from continental European hops. This brew was kept in the family with the awesome artwork being created by our own sales guy, Matt! Saluti y’all! Just remember: we’re in waste management.

Muddy Thames

English Dark Mild, 5.3% ABV, 24 IBU

Like he mighty muddy river that flows through London, this ale is dark and full of character. Roasted malts bring forward flavors of toast and toffee, while notes of raisin and plum lend the perfect balance. Lucky for us, the Texas springtime is perfect for drinking on the patio, and the low ABV of this brew will allow you to enjoy it and the weather all day long!

Zwickelbier

Kellerbier, 5.5% ABV, 31 IBU

Helles understyle for the Zwickelbier style pour, meaning it’s a fresh lager. We amped up the hoppiness by doing a large whirlpool addition of Hallertau Blanc and Nelson Suavin hops for a great white wine punch! Prost!

Haze Anagi

Hazy DIPA, 8.7% ABV, 25 IBU

We brew Haze Anagi with Oats to give it a smooth mouthfeel, and is fermented with a Kveik Yeast to get even more fruity flavors. It gets fermented to an impressive 8.7% ABV, and has LOADS of Rakau, Waiti, and Motueka hops! It is dry hopped like crazy and left hazy.

Find our brews around the greater Houston area at HEB, Spec’s, Total Wine, and Kroger. Order it on draught at your favorite watering hole! Don’t see it? Ask your bartender to bring it in!
